A dynamic environment, constantly evolving and careful to offer ever improved service like Atahotels is bound to be close to the sporting world, whose values of balance and healthy competition it shares. Therefore Atahotels has long supported sport through sponsorship and promotional activities, aimed not only at business but also at charity initiatives.
Atahotels’ presence is particularly important, through sponsorship and partnership plans, in the world of football. The partership with Calciomercato, for example, started in 2003 and since then Atahotels has hosted the official headquarters in its Milan properties.
Atahotels’ passion for football led the group to become official supplier to Juventus FC from year 2002 to 2009, and official supplier to Milan from year 2004 to 2010.
Atahotels is also a partner of the Milan Foundation, with which it collaborates actively in fundraising for children in need, supporting charitable initiatives organized by the NGO itself. It is the sponsor of the Insieme Cup, a charity 7 a-side football tournament which lasts from September to June, and of the “Milan Golf Tour” golfing circuit.
Golf is the other sport with which Atahotels works actively, sponsoring major tournaments and improving the facilities devoted to golfers within its own structures: in fact, Atahotels is sponsor of the Adidas Cup Golf Trophy.
Atahotels has also significantly enhanced its own facilities in recent years, with structures devoted to the lovers of this sport, including the famous Golf Hotel in Madonna di Campiglio, with its nine hole golf course designed by Henri Cotton and the Tanka Village, resort in Sardinia which, with its Tanka Golf Club designed by the architect Luigi Rota Caremoli - 18 holes par 70 - won the “2007 Best New Golf Course” prize from the “Il Mondo del Golf” magazine.
